Whenever I ask someone what the end-game in ESO is like, I just get some mumbo jumbo about the persistent PvP zone in Cyrodil. While I don't dislike PvP in MMOs, I don't really play them to PvP. I play them to raid/have progression/get better gear, etc. But I have seen very little marketing material for ESO and literally no information about their end-game PvE content. I have heard from people during the Betas I participated in that there is no raiding in the tradtional sense. I have also heard that the best gear in the game (legendary) is obtained exclusively through crafting. But outside of that I know nothing? - What does it mean that there is no 'traditional raiding?' - If all of the best gear is crafted, is this another GW2 with regard to PvE; ie: there is one level of gear at max level and PvE content simply gives you cosmetic 'upgrades' with no actual gear progression? - Are dungeons/hard dungeons the only instanced PvE content? - How does group loot work since every class can wield every piece of gear and every weapon? Obviously specific builds require specific things, but any piece could be an upgrade for anyone if the current piece in that slot is shitty enough right? All PvE content ends being easy once you dominate the mechanics. VMA is the perfect example of this, at first it was incredible hard, but when you do it enough times, it turns out to be a walk in the park.
